Milwaukee Community work with students
Milwaukee Visionaries Project
Milwaukee Visionaries Project is a community based project that seeks to connect and collaborate with young people attending middle school and high school, in order to create short films that allow for expression of their personal experience and life in the city

The art program employs a number of Milwaukee and UW-Milwaukee creatives who support and guides the young students work.

The program has an incredible group of kids, many of which return to the after-school program year after year. They are given an opportunity to make many connections and meet students from other area middle and high schools.

I was placed there as a UW-Milwaukee AtrsEco Intern. I worked with MVP for a full semester and then decided I wanted to return. In order to secure my funding I applied for the Support for Undergraduate Research Grant. I was chosen to receive funding for my research and proceeded to present my findings at the symposium on May 1st, 2020.
